Uploading and sharing files with HeftySend is straightforward. Here is how to do it from start to finish.
Step 1: Open the upload page
Sign in to your account and click the upload button on your dashboard.
Step 2: Add your files
Drag and drop files directly onto the upload area, or click to open the file browser and select them that way.
You can add multiple files at once. They will all be grouped into a single transfer link.
Step 3: Add a title and message (optional)
Give your transfer a title so the recipient knows what it is. You can also add a short message that will appear on the download page.
Step 4: Set the expiry date
Choose how long the link should stay active. The options available depend on your plan:
- Free: up to 3 days
- Premium: up to 365 days
- Ultra and Lifetime: no expiry
Step 5: Copy your link
Once the upload is complete, HeftySend generates a unique link. Copy it and share it however you like — email, chat, wherever works for you.
Your recipient does not need a HeftySend account to download the files.
What happens next
The recipient opens the link and sees your files listed on a download page. They can download files individually or grab everything at once as a ZIP archive.
