Setting up a HeftySend account takes less than two minutes and does not require a credit card.
Sign up
Head to heftysend.com and click the sign up button. Enter your email address and choose a display name.
Email verification
After signing up you will receive a verification email. Click the link inside to confirm your address. The link is valid for a short window, so if it has expired you can request a new one from the login page.
Check your spam folder if the email does not arrive within a couple of minutes.
Logging in with a magic link
HeftySend uses magic link login rather than traditional passwords. Each time you want to sign in, you enter your email address and we send you a one-time link. Clicking the link signs you in instantly with no password to remember or forget.

What your free account includes
When you first sign up you are on the free plan. This gives you:
- File transfers up to 20 GB per file
- Links that stay active for 3 days
- Unlimited transfers while your account is active
